BACKGROUND

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2004 with a degree BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy. I worked for the NHS then in 2017 started working as an independent Speech and Language Therapist when I returned to work after having my second child.


I have extensive experience working with children aged 2-16 in a range of different settings including:

  • Community clinics


  • Mainstream primary and secondary schools


  • Mainstream nursery schools


  • Specialist speech and language bases


  • Nurseries and pre-schools


  • Special schools


  • Children's centres

I work with children with the following communication difficulties:

  • Speech and language delay


  • Speech and language disorder


  • Dysfluency (stammering)


  • Autistic spectrum disorder


  • General developmental delay


  • Learning difficulties


​I am a member of the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (MASLTIP), Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
